The sights of a Kendrick Lamar pop-up shop in Denver

When the announcement was made, only 15 cities were chosen to have a rare pop-up shop featuring exclusive Kendrick Lamar merchandise — and Denver was 10th on the list. Lamar and Top Dawg Entertainment made the announcement in early July before his tour supporting DAMN. took off. Kids young and old lined up (and as we saw, they were all probably the same kids who excitedly line up for Supreme and Kanye's shit, too).

The event was hosted at Abstract on S. Broadway. Mid-day, the store ran out of merchandise ... twice. One lucky dude who bought the last DAMN. jacket tried selling it outside the store for triple the amount he got it for to anyone in line who wanted it. I ended up spending $65 on a sweatshirt. Ebay user Jakhes_2 is selling the same sweatshirt for $170 (+$9.75 for shipping) right now ... I don't plan on selling mine.

The photos below were taken at the event throughout the day starting at around 8 a.m till the concert that same night. I'd say it was a pretty good weekend for Denver, Colorado.
